posts on spirituality & wholeness

I was raised without religion yet somehow surrounded by Catholics my entire life, especially when I went to university (U of I has no religious affiliation) and studied abroad in Italy for two years.

Yet spirituality found me. It became a deep call within my heart, body, and soul, and gradually I found many teachers, all who contributed to my sense of the Divine, and now I live a truly Spiritual Mutt existence. 😇

My version of spirituality is holistic — it makes enemies of no one; I seek to accept every moment as it is given to me. I find truth just about everywhere. It includes and makes tremendous space for the aspects of the human animal — with reverence for all expressions of our experience as incarnations in the three-dimensional world yet not limited by it. It embraces the sacred and the profane, which often walk this world side by side. It unconditionally loves both light and dark, divinely masculine and feminine.

My practice is an ever-deepening embodied presence with the emerging energy of Truth unfolding in each moment.

I’m not perfect in my spirituality, and that’s not only okay, but celebrated. I came here to ground down and in to my body, not bypass it and float out into the ether.

My hope is that what I share will speak to parts of you that need to hear what I have to share, that it will inspire you into deeper love for yourself and others. Please, take what you like and leave the rest.
